AC Installation & Replacement

A new system sized right for your house, installed clean, and backed by a 1-year labor and 10-year parts warranty.

Most of the comfort problems we get called out for are not broken equipment — they are systems that were never sized right for the house in the first place. Before we quote you anything, we look at the house: square footage, ductwork, insulation, windows, how many rooms never seem to cool off. Then we recommend equipment that actually fits it.

We install Goodman, Ruud and Bosch as our primary lines and can source most other brands on request. Every install includes a proper line set, a level pad, a correct electrical disconnect, a new thermostat, and a full startup with the charge verified — not eyeballed. We clean up behind ourselves and haul the old equipment off.

What’s Included in Our AC Installation Services

We are Neal and Hunter — two guys out of Hickory running a veteran-owned, licensed heating and cooling company (NC License #33148). You get one of us on the phone and one of us on the job, every time. We do every job like it is our own: an honest diagnosis, our real recommendation, options that fit your budget, and the work backed by a 1-year labor and 10-year parts warranty. In about a year, more than seventy of your neighbors across the foothills have left us a five-star review — that is the standard we are protecting on your job too.

Common questions

How much does a new system cost?
It depends on the size of the house, the equipment you pick and what shape the existing ductwork and electrical are in. We will walk the house, give you a written number, and we do not charge for the estimate.
How long does an installation take?
A straight changeout is usually one day. If we are also correcting ductwork or moving equipment it can run into a second day, and we will tell you that before we start, not halfway through.
What is covered under the warranty?
1 year on our labor and 10 years on parts through the manufacturer, as long as the equipment is registered. We handle the registration for you.
Do you offer financing?
We can point you to the manufacturer and lender programs available at the time you buy. Ask us when we quote it and we will lay out what is on the table.
