It's rare in today's world to find a contractor that is there when he says he will be there, gives you a good price and does the job to perfection. Neil and Hunter are the best. They did an excellent job installing a new mini split unit in my home. The communication was great. They were on time and gave me a very fair price. I’ve had 2 amazing experiences with Southern Summit! Hunter worked long hours on both jobs to get my HVAC system up and running and made sure the job was done right. He also relocated my dehumidifier so it was out of the way and added a condensation pump to ensure it was doing its job! Throughout the process, he kept me informed about what was going on and explained everything clearly, which I really appreciated being a new homeowner. My A/C unit has not been cooling for days. I called him and he came out the next day. He was very kind and informative of what was going on. After an hour of work he got our house back cool again. Will definitely call him again if I have any more problems with out HVAC unit.

Hunter came out to repair our mini split system (replaced fan motor assembly) He was very professional, communicated with us throughout the process from ordering the parts and completing the job as described . The unit is not operating as it should and is no longer loud!! We had two previous businesses come out who were unable to repair the unit. His price was fair and reasonable. Hunter is very professional, and I highly recommend his HVAC services to everyone. He leaves no stone unturned when diagnosing the issue. I had a seized fan motor, and instead of installing the new fan motor and calling it a day, he took the extra time to make sure the board on the furnace was working properly. After getting the HVAC system working again, he made took the extra time to test the air temperatures of both the heat pump and the gas furnace.

Incredibly fast response time. I called Southern Summit at the very end of the work day and told them the problem I was having with my HVAC system and Hunter was there first thing the next morning! He completed a much cleaner installation job than what was present before. He communicated with me throughout the whole process to not only explain what he was doing, but why he was doing it. He responded to all my questions as well as listened to any input I might have had. Hunter even took into consideration the use of space and proceeded to conveniently redesign the original layout to give me a little more usable area in my large “crawlspace” that we use for storage. The whole process was up-front, honest, no pressure, and very professional. How many HVAC workers do you see that show up as quick as Hunter did that’s in a tucked in polo with the company logo looking like he owns the place.. oh wait he does own the place. My old unit went out a few months back in my shop and I had a few companies come out and give me quotes on the job that needless to say made me less than optimistic about getting this fixed. I gave Southern Summit a call and with VERY little wait time, Hunter came out and filled me in on what all he would do if it were his and gave me some good news cost wise! I am very pleased overall with the quality and speed of the process and grateful they did not try to sell me a unit that I truly didn't need to properly heat and cool my shop! After many quotes Southern Summit not only had better pricing but also was the only one that was knowledgeable on the new construction building on tighter houses. My home required a ERV (energy recovery ventilator) also sealed crawl space requiring a dehumidifier to keep the whole house with filtered clean air. The level of professionalism was over the top and Hunter took great pride in his work very clean and meticulous and did I mention he also is the owner. Will definitely use them in the future!

So happy I found this company! I have an extremely old unit that needed some fine tuning before it gets to hot out. Southern Summit were easy to work with and didn't charge an arm and leg which I was afraid of. 10/10 recommend and will definitely use them in the future.
